Sunflowers and Row Houses [#82]

It's the end of the summer season. It’s time to bid adieu to the hot ‘n’ hazy days and say hello to fall’s cool nights, cozy sweaters, and pumpkin-spice-everything. The tall sunflowers growing in front of row houses of Florida Avenue are good way to spot the weather transition in the District.

About the artist:

Carlos Carmonamedina studied Fine Arts in Mexico and Romania. His artwork, which combines his love for travel, bicycles, food, old cameras and comics has been featured in many exhibitions around the world.

After living in Europe for 7 years, he is now settled in Washington DC, where he works as an illustrator and graphic designer.
