Orders & Shipping

How are your prints packed?

Prints are carefully packaged in protective sleeves with sturdy backing boards and shipped in rigid kraft mailers or tubes. When possible, I prioritize using recycled or reused materials to minimize environmental impact.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders may take 1-4 business days to process before shipping. Shipping times vary based on location. Please note that carriers may experience transit delays, particularly during holidays. Allow extra time for deliveries, and be aware that tracking details may update more slowly than usual.

How do I track my order?

Upon shipment, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Note that tracking updates can take a day or two to reflect the carrier's progress. If tracking seems delayed, your order is likely en route. Check your spam or promotions folders for the email if it seems overdue.

What should I do if my order hasn't arrived?

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. Shipping carriers work independently from The Culture Curious, but here are a few solutions I can offer:

  • If your package has been marked delivered and it's only been a day or two, sit tight! Sometimes the carriers scan it before it gets to you. Keep an eye out for it in the next few hours.
  • If the tracking hasn’t been updated in an unusually long time or if it was never updated since the label was created, chances are it was lost in transit. Please send an email to hola@theculturecurious.com so I can help you look into this.
  • If the shipping address was a temporary location, I do not assume responsibility if the recipient is no longer at that address upon delivery within the projected shipping timeline.
  • If a package is not reported as lost within 30 days of the ship date, I will not be able to assist with a replacement or refund.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return/exchange policy?

Most products are guaranteed for 30 days after purchase date. If any issues arise during that time, the item can be returned for a refund or exchange. Items must have been purchased from TheCultureCurious.com and must be returned in their original condition and packaging. If used items are returned, a partial refund may be given in the form of store credit. Feel free to send me a note at hola@theculturecurious.com

Is there a fee for returning?

All refunds require an $8.00 processing fee, which will automatically be deducted from your refund. Exchanges and returns for store credit are free.

When will I receive my refund?

You should receive your refund pretty quickly after my team confirms it. Please note, it can take 3-5 business days for a refund to credit back to your original form of payment.

My package arrived damaged, what should I do?

I'm sorry to hear that! Please send a photo to hola@theculturecurious.com and include your order number so I can take a closer look and help with a solution!

My item was damaged out of the 30 day return/exchange window, what should I do?

Send me a picture anyway! While normal wear and tear isn't covered, I'll address manufacturing defects or unreasonable damage.

Can I no longer buy postcards on your site?

I've transitioned to selling postcards exclusively wholesale to streamline operations. These days, I only sell my postcards wholesale, so why don't you ask your favorite gift shop to carry my products? I still have a bunch of postcards that I sell at local markets. - subscribe to my newsletter for updates!

Are you open for commissions?

Unfortunately, I'm no longer able to offer commissions due to time and energy constraints.

Can you create illustrations for my city?

I'm thrilled to receive requests for new cities! While I can't fulfill every request, I periodically review the most popular suggestions. Share your city ideas here.
