As the heat wave hits the capital, its residents make their way to the countless parks the city has to offer. And the outdoor films are already a tradition that communities look forward every summer. In the image, people gather at the Canal Park, on the site of the historic Washington Canal at the Riverfront neighborhood.

About the artist:

Carlos Carmonamedina studied Fine Arts in Mexico and Romania. His artwork, which combines his love for travel, bicycles, food, old cameras and comics has been featured in many exhibitions around the world.

After living in Europe for 7 years, he is now settled in Washington DC, where he works as an illustrator and graphic designer.
